Rarely do I blog about a place that I have stayed as I primarily focus on the beauty of the nature and Unesco destinations. The Alila Resort Jabal Akhdar is literally as close to nature as you can get.

Jabal Akhdar has incredible history, culture and nature. This rugged, mountainous region is one of Oman’s most compelling destinations thanks to stunning landscapes that include Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest mountain, and Jebel Akhdar, considered the fruit bowl of Oman.
